Cheer Programs

We have a team for everyone, from beginner to a seasoned veteran. Our athletes learn to develop their individual skills, as well as their team building skills, allowing for individual goal achievement and team advancement.

Rec Cheer

  • Ages 11 & under
  • Weekly 90 minute class

Novice Cheer

  • All ages welcome
  • Weekly 90 minute classes

  • September to April season
  • Non Compete Performance
All-Star Cheer

  • Ages 5 & up
  • Experience recommended
  • 1 tumbling class per week
  • 1-2 team practices per week
  • May to April season
  • 6 – 8 competitions (ON)

Tumbling Classes

Athletes work on skills such as cartwheels, walkovers, handsprings, tucks and more. Every class includes flexibility and conditioning to help improve strength. With classes divided into levels to ensure every athlete is challenged.

Small Group Tumbling
$25/ half hour

3 athletes to 1 coach

Private Tumbling
$60/ 1 hour class

1 athlete to 1 coach

Flyer Flex & Strength

Ground bound training working on flexibility, strength and air positions. Classes run for six weeks.

Flyer In Air Training
Work and master in air technique and skills working with experienced bases.

All-Star Classes

These classes are for All Star Cheer Team Athletes ONLY.

Cartwheels & Rolls

Work on mastering and perfecting cartwheels, front and back rolls.


Work on front and back handsprings in standing and running tumbling.

Round Offs

Work on making round offs powerful.

Tucks & Lays

Work on front and back tucks/layouts in standing and running tumbling.

Walkovers 1

Work on building a strong foundation for front and back walkovers.

Walkovers 2

Work on front and back walkovers in standing and running tumbling.

Our athletes learn to be outstanding citizens who will grow through character development, leadership and team work. The family environment at Cheer Strong helps our athletes grow not only as individuals but also as members of a team and our community.

Day Camps

Day camp will consist of scheduled activities including but not limited to
– physical activity
– crafts
– games and activities
**Please note this is not a tumbling focused camp**

Scheduled snack and lunch breaks will occur, children are to bring their own peanut/nut free snacks and lunches. All snacks and lunches will be boomerang.

Maximum number of athletes in each camp will be determined by the capacity limits set by the Government and Health Unit.

Before & After Care available with a minimum of 48 hours notice.
$10 per child per half hour

Day camps are available during:

  • Summer holiday
  • Winter holiday
  • March break
  • Durham region P.A. days

Athletes must bring their own snack and lunch (peanut, fish/shellfish free).
